Chapter 13 post 2

Please excuse the late submission due to me being away for National Guard Duty and didn't have the internet accessibility Hence the late submission of the quiz as well.

Kohlberg’s levels of moral reasoning was very nice to see in this chapter because I had heard of it before and find it to be some information that is very important and relevant to society and everything incorporated with even becoming a young adult anymore.

The preconventional moral reasoning stage to me is something that you really only reached for when you were a younger child. Or in some cases to rewards and punishment became a lot better in being hidden from those around you and I dislike the fact that after a certain age you have people acting in such a manner.

Conventional moral reasoning, is what I think to be the most important of these three levels due to the impact it has on you even becoming a certain way and living say in a specific cultural setting. I believe as well that the rules need to be followed well written and understood by all for the whole social side of things. On top of the law you have to think that all people have to follow some sort of social code to make people willing and able to be in a large body group.

Postconventional moral reasoning, is obviously something that can’t exist without the first two levels missing. I think it is good that we continue to learn and build from the experiences we have in life and make better decisions from time to time based off our moral experiences and beckoning we go through in life.
