Cyberbullying Post 2

Cyber bullying over the course of time since computers and cell phones became part of our daily lives has gotten worse. There is no boundaries when it comes to the internet. Most of us have social networking accounts whether its Facebook or Twitter. I have been cyber bullied. The feeling stinks and it hurts more than anyone would understand unless they have gone through it. This wasn't necessarily during my elementary school and middle school life but it made a big impact on who I am today. It was Summer of 2009 and I was basically doing whatever I want. I started school and the guy I was seeing during the summer started sending me really mean text messages and making me feel like I was a horrible person. I was defenseless and my dad was gone and at that point my mom and I were on opposite sides of everything. I couldn't talk to her. Well this went on for a month half. I stood up to myself one day and he threatened to have his sister beat me up because I told him I was going to call the police. At that point, I crawled back into the hole that was in my head and kept to myself. He brought it to school and I brought it to the school administrators attention and they placed a restraining order on him and if he contacted me then I had to call the police immediately and file charges. Seeing all the suicides in the news because of cyber bullying makes me really sad because no one should be treated poorly.
