Cyber bullying and also children exposure through the internet to many things that they may need to be, or certainly have been in the past, is an intense topic. Some questions that I have that were not answered in the book was, has the rate of suicide in teens and children escalated since the advent of the internet? Has anyone done studies on the relationship between mental health and not only time spend on line, but specifically, time spend online doing what? Thankfully I think our generation will be much better at making blocks for children being bullied or seeking out information/videos/games they are not old enough for. That being said, as we are very comfortable and spend an increasing amount of time online and watching television as a generation, we will most likely be less strict about the amount of time which our children are allowed to be online and that to me is very concerning. Online in s tricky world which we are still coming to terms with in a variety of ways. It will be interesting to see how it plays out over time.
